I really think it is time for a brand name change. These were purchased purely for Review purposes. I have over 50 Pmags at my disposal, a few Hex Mags, ETS Mags (As seen in video), as well as some MFT Mags.

I have used Pro Mag mags in the past. Mostly with Handguns. Those always took a little bit of break in for them to work the way I wanted, but they always ended up failing completely with broken parts like base pads.

As with everything I cover on my Social Media accounts, and in my rare writing. I like to have personal experiences with Products when possible. This prevents me from providing information that may not be accurate, and also repeating information from other than reliable sources. The internet is full of these sources, and I am always exposing myself to them via Social Media and Forums. We all have opinions, and in this day and age, it is very easy to share them.

Pro Mag has a reputation on the internet. I have been able to verify it with personal experience more than I am happy with. Let’s face it, their products are extremely affordable, and also readily available when OEM products are not. In this video I try putting over 300 rounds through a combination of Pro Mag mags, 2 42 round mags, and 5 30 round mags. Not one of the mags was able to be emptied without a failure to feed. They lock into place extremely well with positive feedback. But they dont feed consistently. After getting the "Click", a quick pull of the charging handle usually caused the follower to release and actually put a round where needed. This happened in both kinds of mags, and was the only consistent thing about them.

Can these issues be resolved? I am positive with some time I could make them work, but only doing so would tell me how well. And then you have to ask, how long?, how long before the polymer fails?

No worries. I paid $5 each for the 30 rounders, and 7.99 for the 42 rounders. I will revisit these mags after i have had time to disassemble tham and see what I find. Maybe a little trimming of the Follower, and possibly some lube will resolve the feeding issues. Maybe! Stay tuned for more Mag testing..

Some slow motion of the VFC MP7. This particular one has feeding issues as you can see in the film. Sometimes it double feeds. So far I’m blaming ammo for that. Overall though, it is 1/1 scale unlike the TM and KWA offerings. On semi auto it is perfect. Accurate, loud, powerful and a nicely made replica in external terms with better function and correct sizing.
