MIA are going green at their site. Here’s the latest from Graham:
MIA is the first UK Site to no longer permit the use of non Full Bio-degradable BB, please bring you own full biodegradables (Marui or Excel starch based) or buy on site.
This is not a cunning plan to extract extra income from players, as we would make much more profit from selling semi or non biodegradable BBs (which are what most are) we have chosen to promote, and stock Bioval, and subsidise their use on site.
Our concern is with our own land, and the future of Airsoft in the UK. In Italy you are required to use full bio BBs on Government Property, Protected Forests, and with all the new European Stewardship schemes, and environmentally slanted agricultural payment policy’s which all apply to the UK, it is only a matter of time we believe before the same restriction comes to the UK, so we have moved now rather than later.
It would be easy to go down the road of selling cheap inferior products, but we have gone for the best of Japanese.
Our gamse are usually more tactical than perhaps many, so BB use is normal not excessive, plus as our grenade prices are amongst the cheapest in the country, you can afford to blow them out, rather than hosing them to death. Graham McLellan, (MIA)
