There’s apparently a few rumours about the MadBull Airsoft BBs. MadBull Airsoft themselves have published test results from an independent lab:

Rumor says MadBull Bio BB has Cobalt and will hurt our environment.
Our Japan Bio material suppliers says, there is no Cobalt and heavy metal.In order to get a clear result, we send our BB to independent lab and got test result.
“There is no Cobalt.”
