Here is all the latest news from Gunman Airsoft:
Dear Arnies Airsoft news,
Wow! What a weekend… So for those of you not in the know, the safe zone building at Tuddenham was broken into on Thursday night and set on fire. Thankfully there is no damage to the structure, and the biggest problem is that the inside was totally filled with soot. Thanks to the efforts of some of the marshal team most of it has been cleaned up and all that is really left to do is to blast the sooty cobwebs out of the roof and repaint the walls. This should all be done by the time we hit mid-month and normal service should be resumed.
As far as the end of month skirmish weekend goes we had a huge turnout and the quality of play was outstanding throughout the weekend. The night game was well attended and we will shortly be announcing the next date – we will be capping numbers at around 30 for the night games to ensure high quality gaming, so make sure you book in advance (you also get an advance discount) to avoid being turned away on the night if the game is over attended.
We had a great time on the gas & spring day on the Bank Holiday Monday – we will try to give you guys more notice for the next one to give you more time to plan for it.
This weekend we have a FilmSim day on at Top Dog Paintball’s site just outside of Norwich – we are looking at running short games in the morning followed by a full afternoon’s scenario using the whole site as we did last month. We will be trying to bring the 4×4 down for the afternoon if at all possible if we can get the batteries changed out in time. Failing that, it will definitely be making an appearance for next month’s game complete with mounted GPMG.
Please remember to book your hot lunch in advance via the event page on our website by tomorrow evening latest as the caterer buys the meat and bread in fresh.
Next weekend we are back at Tuddenham for a hunger battle style FilmSim weekend. Three or more teams will be battling it out for various resources throughout the day in a bid to survive – will you be able to collect and hold onto enough supplies by the end of the match? Will you let another team do all the hard work and then raid their camp at the last minute? It’s totally up to you how you choose to tackle the game.
After that we will be doing the hunger battle all over again at our Eversley site on 20th & 21st – if you’ve never been down to the site before, this is always a cracking scenario to enjoy the large site with.
Regards,
Josh Smith (Gunman Airsoft)
