Welcome to this week’s update from Gunman Airsoft.
We had another totally awesome Battlefield 2030 weekend at Eversley, with plenty of people dressing up in futuristic loadouts – thanks for a great weekend guys.
This weekend, we are back at Tuddenham for our end of month skirmish spectacular. Two days of intense, short games in both the woodland and CQB areas of our unique Suffolk site. Please don’t forget that you must have at least one weapon which is capable of single shots at under 1.13J (350fps) as we usually play at least half the day in the CQB area. Snipers/DMR must always have a secondary on them in game for close encounters.
Just a reminder that we have a Cold War operations weekend lined up in March (24th & 25th). Following a similar structure to our open FilmSim weekends, operations will usually last around two to three hours with a break in fighting for lunch and a shutdown overnight. We have loads of period uniforms for free loan as well as weapons for rental – please don’t turn up with an MTP loadout and a pimped out M4 and expect to play with it.
We are reasonably flexible for first timers (soldier 95 DPM, M4 with rails and crane stock scrimmed up etc) but this is not a “turn up in anything” type open day – we’re looking for a bit of immersion in the early 1980’s. If you’re unsure about kit, drop us an email and we’ll happily advise.
