I thought it was about time I got through the rest of the news roundup before we’re through to the next day.
Alex has updated his website, ElementConcepts, with a new editorial and also a new library section. The site is a good read and well laid out so worth a visit:
The internet is a great place, full of just about tid bit of information you could desire. For airsofters and particularly project creators it can locate all manner of obscure real life facts and information. The trouble is finding the information is never completely straight forward.
Over the past few years we’ve been collecting, and storing, all the documents we’ve found useful and of potential interest. So to save you a bit of time we have grouped them all together here as a sort of library.
I would stress that all the files here are copyright of their respected owners, if you feel that your copyrights have been infringed please contact us and we will remove the offending file. Alex, (ElementConcepts)
First Factory have updated their website with details of all the usual releases, so if you want to see pretty pictures of stuff that’s already been mentioend have a poke around over there. The new STI lineup from KSC are there, as is the P226 Rail and M11 CQB2. The KSC lineup looks a lot more interesting that the standard 1911 clone from them so will be interesting to see in the flesh.
At Laylax.com there’s a nice selection of new upgrade parts (I’m never quite sure of the actual relationship with First as to if Laylax is a subsiduary or just a brand name.. but anyway). New in we have a piston head, spring guide and bore-up cylinder for the TM G18C AEP. There’s also a heap of parts for the TM 5.1 including new mag releases catches (in both single and double format), and safety release buttons (square and short).
Given the popularity for custom parts for both the 5.1 and the AEP you can be sure that there’s going to be a heap of P226 parts coming shortly assuming the pistol is as good as previous releases.
On the 16th to the 17th of April Tokyo Marui will be exhibiting at the Spring ToyGun Bazaar 2005 named "Gekishinmatsuri" that’s held in Tokyo and hosted by First Factory. Event better news is that there’s actually an English page that covers the event on First’s pages. The M14 and P226 will be shown and by the looks of it advance sales of the new TM products will be undertaken there too. Marui will exhibit after that at the 44th Shizuoka Hobby Show on the 12th of May.
