Assault On Antioch from Airsoft GI and Gamepod Combat Zone was an intense two day weekend of epic airsoft, raffle prizes, and fun.

The event followed a post-apocalyptic storyline where the South Side led by Bob the Axe Man faced the North Side led by Milsim Junkie and Spartan117GW in a battle for survival.

In Scenario 3, both teams attempt to location 1 large case and 5 smaller ones which contain access codes that allow entrance to the field during the next day. The large case will determine which team starts on the field at the beginning of the next day.

Because North Side (Green) was able to capture the Vehicle Bay at the end of Scenario 2, North Side has control of the buggy allows for a great tactical advantage. Who will seize victory at the end of day one?!

Airsoft is a sports game which is played by people, young and old, around world.
The age anyone can play this game depends on the insurance cover that each site has. Most sites in the UK, USA etc accept players from age 14, though many will also accept players as young as 10. I would advise that before playing Airsoft at any site, you make sure it has insurance cover for all players. Always wear eye protection when playing Airsoft, even if you are just playing in your backyard. Airsoft is non-lethal, no-one has ever been injured using these. It is not possible to convert these items to use anything other than little plastic BBs. Above all, Always play safe.

Several friend and I went to TAC over the weekend and got nearly five hours of games in. TONS of fun! And lots of pain. Here are a few highlights from the events!

My main video camera had ran out of battery power, so I returned to pick up my spares. I stumbled into four players testing the range of rifles on the new range at Section8. The first target was 30m away & another target every 10 there after, up to 120m. No-one had ever hit the 120m target, until now and by chance I was there. Filmed using my Canon DSLR, not one I often use for video.

This is a video for people who consider raising their kids to be the highest priority in their lives.
If raising your kids is not your highest priority then turn off the video now.
I would like to ask you a question…
Do you plan to force your kids into public school or any school? If you are like most people your answer would be “yes”.
Now I think you mean well and have good intentions. But you have been conditioned like everyone else into letting complete strangers control your kid’s personality for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week or 12 + years is normal and healthy. However as you can see in society healthy behavior is not the norm.
Drug addiction, teenage pregnancy, bullying, abuse, violence, self-erasure, self-abuse. These are just some examples that plague society at the moment.
These maladaptive behaviors spread around like an infectious disease. Some of these things are taught these things by their parents… abusive parents. However if the parents are good and nice to them… putting them through public schools will still subject them to society.
Obviously we know that public school is not healthy because it is forced upon us… at what point do you accept coercion in the relationship between you and your kids?
I know it is hard to go against social pressures to do the right thing. There are alternatives to forced education… like raising your kids yourself instead of shoving them off to strangers to do the job.

The two-strand footrope knot is #783 in ‘The Ashley Book of Knots’. It makes for simple neat paracord zipper pull, pocket knife fob or lanyard, and can be tied in a series and worked close together or spaced out.

An example of a paracord cross is shown, done with two separate strands of gutted paracord, one strand for the top knot, another for the bottom three knots, then strands from the top and bottom are paired off to tie the arms on each side, ends trimmed/melted to finish.

I used leftover paracord scraps for the cross, and think the top piece was a little over a foot long and probably two feet for the bottom piece, but that was more than was needed so I trimmed the excess.

Looking for an AEG that is a bit different? The Viktor is what you need. The Viktor is the newest model in the Genesis series which features our proven internals in a lightweight polymer body.
The gearbox is the same proven standard version 3 gearbox that is in all our AK series guns but now with 8mm bearings over the standard 7mm. On the outside, the gun is made of sturdy yet lightweight polymer, making it very maneuverable and most of all, very affordable.

While the Viktor might be based on an AK platform and look similar, the unique helical style high cap magazine makes the gun very sleek and changes the whole look completely. It holds 1000 rounds yet does not protrude from the gun like a standard AK-47/74 style magazine. The capacity combined with the folding stock makes it a small gun that packs a lot of firepower that can be used both as a primary weapon or backup to a sniper.
