The Poseidon Ice Pick GBB Flute Valve System was developed to improve the performance, efficiency and operation of your GBB at low temperatures and with fast firing sequences. Improves cold weather performance allowing less gas consumption and more shoots. The valve and its conical spring prevent the nozzle from jamming due to freezing and controls the gas with significantly more precision. It can increase the fps by up to 10% or more (depends on temperature).
Most of the GBBs fail to cycle once the magazine temperature drops below 15 degrees, Poseidon Ice Pick has a spring and valve design that overcomes this obstacle and allows your GBB to still shoot even if your magazine is ice old.
The Ice Pick achieves the efficiency by using a special valve design that prevents icing that occurs when green gas rapidly passes through a GBB loading nozzle. The first part of the Ice Pick is the conical spring, which it can control the flow to avoid wasting gas, when the nozzle is freeze, the spring can still work without stick. Second part is the dart with the central hollow design which can stabilize the airflow output and make fully and effectively use of the gas, and with the four-blade design which can solve the problem of frost sticking caused by low temperature in the nozzle, when the nozzle is freeze, the ice pick will only contact the inner surface of the nozzle with four-blade instead of the whole surface as the original type, and will sweep the ice too. It makes GBB released the gas stably and decrease the exhaustion substantially.
The Ice Breaker by Poseidon is combined by two C-font Teflon and a small pin to let two notches be 180 degrees to get lockout. The original GBB’s bolt use rubber to lockout, but rubber needs a lot of oil to keep it smooth and will be stock by sticky oil under the low temperature. With too much oil, it will influence the trajectory too, so Poseidon use the Teflon to replace the rubber.
Teflon is a kind of polymer which has smooth property and high stable in low temperature. After using with the Ice Breaker, the only parts that need oil in your GBB are the slide and the rail.
The original WE valve opens too much and has vibration. It cost too much gas and let the temperature of magazine drop quickly. The Poseidon Turbo Valve limits the valve to release the gas to avoid the problem above. This product can control the gas output, producing high pressure to replace the original high-flow airflow. Not only saving the gas consume, letting the gas more stable, but also slowing down the rate of magazine effectively failure.
