The Mauser ammo fires intermittently making shooting the Mauser tough. That’s since been corrected by insalling a stronger bolt spring. Coyote and I preserver and make fun of each other in the process. I finally resort to some modern AR-15 action since I want footage of it. Though not as hard hitting as the Garand and Mausers, it’s illuminating seeing how fast and easy the hits come by comparison. Those are still viable battle options but there’s reasons they’re not used anymore by armed forces. Several pistols come into play and Coyote as some troubles connecting with his XDM 5.25 and I give him a mulligan and check zero. It’s on and still a great gun. After many runs we suspend the drill and have some fun with the Actiontarget.com Plate Rack which we love. It’s a fast way to blow through a lot of money…see my review. .22 Pistols come out to take pot shots at 150 yards and we connect some. To end the day, the Garand barks some more from standing position.
