Okay it looks like the problem is now solved. For any techies that want to read up, it appears that SpamAssassin (a common server email spam filter tool) really hates the year 2010 (see this link for more information). Since 2010 the spam filters went on overdrive and just started to remove everything that was coming through from external sources both in and outbound.
If you happen to have your own email server and believe that your emails have been a little quiet since the New Year it’d be best to check your spam lists now.
From what I can see now email is starting to pour back in now (with lots of lovely spam, spam, spam) so bear with us as we go through it all and add all the latest updates.
At the moment we appear to be plagued with an email issue. Since 1st January or thereabouts I believe that we’ve not been receiving emails from outside our own domain. Apologies if you have been sending us email and we’ve not responded. Quite simply it has not arrived. :(
