Just to keep everyone in the picture, we’re now awaiting the end result of our request for a software tech to sync some mail settings for us. The techs are from the company that wrote the server software management system that we use, and are carrying out the complex bit of moving email data across for us (to save me having to recreate email accounts here). As soon as we get the all clear from them, as they are running tests at the moment, well be in a postion to finally move the domain pointer onto the new box.
Data has been backed up, I’m just waiting to make the final sync as soon as we move the IP address.
There are a lot fo timeouts and demand on the server is high at the moment. Sorry but there’s not much we can do, we’re pushign to get everything moved onto the new box asap. Hopefully the techs will have finished their work on our behalf sometime on Monday.
